Trimaco E-Z Floor Guards work by easily placing a sheet of adhesive plastic film on the bottom of your shoe or boot to avoid tracking dirt and debris into a home or jobsite. simply step, pull and tear. No need to bend over and struggle to apply like traditional shoe covers.
Going back outside? Don’t bother removing the film, just reapply a new layer as you re-enter the jobsite. Keep your home or jobsite clean with the easy to use and economical E-Z Floor Guards. Starter kit includes 1 pod and 1 roll of film - 2.45 mil. Film provides up to 187 pairs of shoe covers.

Attention
Avoid skin contact with cutting edge. When transporting the unit (or the unit is not in use for some time), make sure to put the blade down, by sliding the up/down switch to the right.
When you pull the film out, please lift the foot a little in order to avoid any damage from the blade to your shoe.
The best distance to pull the film out is approximately 2 inches from the blade.
If the machine sits unused for a long time, you may need to tear the exposed film off and discard it, so that you have film with ample tack.
Directions for use
1. Raise the unit blade up by sliding the up/down button to the left.
2. Pull the film out past the blade and pull down slightly so it connects to the blade’s teeth.
3. Step onto the cushion in the machine and press down so that the film is able to wrap the bottom of your shoe.
4. Raise your foot slightly and pull your foot outside the machine (towards yourself) with the film attached to the sole of the shoe. Stop when the toe of your shoe is approximately 2 inches from the blade.
5. Push down slightly to force film onto teeth of blade and then continue to push down until the film is cut.
6. Touch the edge of the machine with your toe to tighten the film around your shoe.
7. Done.
Directions to change film
Slide blade to down position. At the bottom, there is an access screw. Remove the screw to open the hatch. Remove the old roll of film. Take the spindle out, then place the new roll of film on the spindle. Put the film back in the machine. Make sure adhesive side is facing up. Close the hatch, and secure the hatch screw.
Slide blade to up position. From the top of the machine, pull the film out past the blade and pull down slightly so it connects to the blades teeth. The Trimaco E-Z Floor Guard is now ready for use.
Troubleshooting :
If plastic does not cut, make sure the blade is on the up position.
Stepping on the blade may cause it to jam. Please check inside to see if it is stuck. You can raise the blade with a screwdriver while toggling the up/down button.
If the film does not turn easily, simply, open the hatch, and work the spindle back onto its holder on the left of right. This mechanism is very similar to a toilet tissue dispenser.
